This notice explains what personal information OpenRealms collects when you join our waitlist, how that information is used, and the rights you have over it.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and nothing else. We do not run analytics on the waitlist page, we do not track you across the web, and we do not enrich your profile using third-party sources.
Bot and abuse prevention
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam and automated abuse. Learn more in Cloudflare's privacy documentation .
How we use it
We use your email address for two purposes, both of which you explicitly consent to when you sign up: to notify you when the OpenRealms beta opens (typically one email, occasionally a follow-up), and to send occasional product updates when something meaningful changes prior to launch. We will not contact you for any other purpose, and we will not sell, share, or sublicense your data to third parties.
Where it is stored
Your email address is stored with our email service provider and in our production database. It is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
How to unsubscribe
Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Upon unsubscribing, your record will be deleted within seven days. To make this request directly, please contact [email protected] and we will process it on your behalf.
Your rights
If you reside in the European Union (GDPR) or Brazil (LGPD), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, or request its deletion. Please contact [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes to this notice
If this notice is updated, the date at the top of this page will be revised. We will notify you by email only when the change is substantial.
